On Sunday 16th June the world’s biggest charity football match is kicking off. Soccer Aid for Unicef has been changing children’s lives since 2006. Some of the world’s biggest celebrities and footballing legends have teamed up over the years to raise over £30 million for Unicef’s work for children. The team at Woven have 100 volunteers ready to take calls for donations to Unicef during the Soccer Aid game being screened on ITV this Sunday. Last year we answered 1179 calls from the general public who donated a whopping £22,986. As well as manning the phone lines we are also holding staff raffles across all 4 offices (Bristol, Swindon, Newport and Ipswich) to raise money for Unicef.
Woven are thrilled to be a part of raising money for such a great cause like Unicef. They give children around the world the carefree childhoods they deserve. They help to tackle the devastating issues that disrupt and destroy childhoods. This includes conflict and disaster to poverty and disease. The aim is to give children back their schools and their homes, their health and their happiness, so they can play, just like children should.
