Andy is the founder and CEO of tPoint Solutions, which is now a Woven Technologies Company. Andy is also the Chief Innovation Officer for Woven.
Andy has a passion for both technology and customer experience and his background reflects this. Initially Andy trained as an actuarial systems analyst within financial services before becoming a freelance business analyst and programme director with numerous organisations including BNP-Paribas and Zurich Financial Services. Andy had a particular focus on major systems change, notably resulting from mergers and acquisitions.
In 2000, Andy founded a specialist IT recruitment business before investing in and taking up a directorship in a high street recruitment business, which rapidly grew as a group to an £18m turnover with major clients including; WH Smith, Homebase, B&Q and Clarks Shoes. Further start-up ventures saw Andy found, and then help to grow, a niche BPO business with a strong financial services focus and major clients that included Axa-PPP, Bristol and West and Nationwide. These experiences culminated for Andy in the creation of tPoint in late 2006. tPoint had a fascinating journey under Andy’s guidance and was recently judged by independent experts “Hivemind”, to be at least two years ahead of the competition from a product perspective. Subsequently Woven acquired tPoint in October 2019.
Andy has also acted as an advisor to other tech start-ups including Online Fuels which was recently awarded Tech Company of the Year at the National Technology Awards. He has also sold both BPO and Technology Services across multiple verticals but his passion and focus is first and foremost as a product designer and innovative technologist.
